Candy Crush Saga bouncy castle opens with a catch

A bouncy castle strictly for adults has popped up next to Tower Bridge this weekend.

The pink and green inflatable has been created by popular computer game Candy Crush Saga, and will be on the South Bank from March 3 until March 5. It has been created to promote a new upgrade to the game  The Jelly Saga.

Entry to the seven metre tall castle is free, but queues are to be expected, as it has been popular with passers by and adults from all across London who have been flocking to the attraction.

The bouncy castle is said to be the worlds first ‘multi-sensory’ bouncy castle, with a raspberry candy scent and sound effects playing whilst you bounce. Named ‘Bouncingham Castle’, it is covered in inflatable gems and sweets for anyone over the age of 16 to bounce amongst.

The new game mode includes “boss modes against the new Jelly Queen” and also “taking on her cronies, like Cupcake Carl,” said Bouncingham Castle employee Jeremy Farrell. “The key to Candy Crush is persistence.”

“It is so fun, I haven’t been able to go on a bouncy castle since I was very young, I felt like a child again as soon as I got on it.” said bouncy castle visitor Oli Lewington. “10/10, I would recommend Bouncingham Palace to everyone I know. It’s the ultimate stress reliever.”

Staff have been appointed to take photos of guests on their phones, all photos can be uploaded with the hashtag #BouncinghamComp to enter for a chance to win one of three iPad minis. Prizes will also be given to the best bouncers.

“I could have stayed on the Bouncy Castle for hours, me and all my friends attempted star jumps, we got some brilliant photos and had a great laugh,” said Caroline Key after visiting the attraction.
