A heroic worker received 35 stitches from a brutal attack by two robbers at Jury’s hotel on Lewisham Way.

Frank Stuart, 51, night porter, was tortured and severely injured after his face was cut and sliced early this morning.

Detective Inspector James Dallowey confirmed that the two robbers only got away with £15 from the fruit machine.

The attack happened last night around 3.30am whilst 30 hotel guests were sleeping.

The two men bundled him down into the basement and tied his hands and feet viciously torturing him.

Both the attackers were white with a typical local accent. One man was 5ft’11, stocky, in his 20s and with dark short hair. The second man was 30, about 5ft’ 4 with long brown hair and was wearing a brown sweatshirt with jeans and trainers.

The more the robbers tortured frank the more adamant he was to not give information on where the key was located. Stuart refused to give up the key.

Stuart was severely injured and was taken into Whittington hospital, North London.

Maureen said, “He was terrified”.

Mr Jeremy Bates said, “we thank Frank, he is a hero, and are offering a £500 reward for these men”.
