A Bulgarian man pleaded not guilty to charges of exposing himself to a woman at a bus stop in East Dulwich.

Stefan Parev, 28, from Wood Green, North London denied all charges against him after being accused of sexual assault at the Lordship Lane bus stop in East Dulwich in January.

Parev allegedly indecently exposed his genitals to an unsuspecting woman in her mid 20s at a bus stop on her regular commute home.

According to the victim, he was in a high vis jacket with his trousers around his ankles. She described Parev looking as though he was “jiggling his body” and his “flaccid penis in hand jiggling it at her”.

Parev then allegedly asked the victim “you want to suck my dick? Yes, you want to suck it?” at which point she called the police.

Parev denied the offence and said he was out of the country at the time of the alleged assault as his defence.

Parev has no previous convictions, and the victim was not known to him.

Westminster Magistrates’ Court ruled that a further trial would take place in January 2023 as there were no witnesses present for the trial.

Parev was granted conditional bail. He is not allowed to enter the proximity of Lordship Lane SE22, East Dulwich and must sleep at his residency at N22 every night.

If Parev is in breach of these restrictions, further conditions will be placed on his bail or he will face imprisonment until his hearing.

His new court trial will take place at City of London Magistrates’ court on January 31.
