Roaring 20s brought back to life at the secret TickTack Club

‘It’s 1921, Birmingham bad boy William (Billy) Kimber has moved south and formed a new gang – The Elephant Boys. Their plan, to take on north London gangs for control of the lucrative racetrack betting and so the racetrack wars begin. ‘

This is the information provided on the official website for the TickTack Club, setting the scene for what is expected to become a very popular night-spot in the area of London Bridge. Designed with the real life Peaky Blinders gang in mind, the club aims to emulate London’s ‘seedy underbelly’ of nightlife, in the 1920s.

Separated onto two levels, upstairs of the venue represents the High Society Art Deco Room, a world of five-course dinners and decadence for the elite in Edwardian London, whilst downstairs is the Working Mens Betting Floor a place filled with ale jugs and debauchery where attendees can place bets on actual 1920s horse races. Not to mention a dressing-up box available to guests on entry, so everyone can recreate the style in their own way.

What is most intriguing about this club however, is it’s top secret location. Found somewhere under an arch of London Bridge, the exact location of the venue is only revealed to those who buy tickets, adding to the sense of anticipation.
