Located on Tooley street in Southwark, the experience opened in February 2008; it is hugely popular and is the sister attraction to The London Tombs.

“We have really cool plans for renovation, special effects and special characters” Dayne, the technical manager at the experience told South London Lines.

“There is an archway and a flat wall against it which indicates more hidden space for us to utilise, although we don’t have the physical room to expand a lot, the structure of the archway suggests space that we can use ,” Dayne added.

Thousands of tourists a year visit the experience and the venue holds many scary events, so any opportunity to grow would be key.

“The cast of The Human Centipede came here! We also host phobophobia, a halloween special which runs throughout October. Everyone goes all out at halloween; the record is 19 panic attacks and 160 removals… I wore a silicon pumpkin head,” Dayne recalled.

The experience is one of London’s most popular attractions and with the exciting ideas for renovation, the setting and special effects can only boost it.
