A taste of Italy in London

Jordan Frieda anpadella3d Tim Siadatan, the duo behind the Italian inspired restaurant Trullo in North London, will open their second restaurant Padella this Spring, this time in Borough Market.

Padella’s menu will be inspired by Trullo’s most favoured pasta dishes. Up to eight dishes will be served and made from fresh pasta rolled in the window of the restaurant just hours before service, but you may also be lucky enough to see the pasta making process during the day ! Dishes will range from £7-£10.50 with a variety of drinks being served from barrels as well as classic Italian drinks. Customers will be able to pull up a stool at the counter whilst overlooking the open kitchen.

“London already excels at pizza,” says Jordan, “and now we’re excited to introduce Italy’s other peasant food, high quality hand made pasta, to Borough Market.”

Padella will open at 6 Southwark Street London SE1 1TQ. They open on 24 March for a soft launch with 50% off food until 27 March and will launch fully on 29 March. They will be open 7 days a week between midday and 10:30pm.

So save a date in your diary with family and friends for Padella !
