Girl, 13, raped in kingston barge walk south-west London

A 13-year-old the girl was attacked and raped by a man in his late teens to early twenties on a grass area near Barge Walk in Kingston-upon-Thames on the 17th of may.

The suspect is described as an Asian man in his early 20s wearing blue jeans and a dark coloured leather jacket. She and the suspect agreed to meet again after meeting previously in Camden.

Detectives are searching for a young couple whom the victim remembers passing on Barge walking in the opposite direction, towards Hampton Court. The woman, who checked on the girl’s welfare, is described as around 25-years-old with fair skin, a blonde bob and wearing a denim jacket.

DC Pete Condron of the Sexual Offences, Exploitation and Child Abuse Command, said:

“I would appeal in particular, I would appeal to the victim to call us. They may hold vital information about what happened.”
