Family of man saved by cab driver seeks his hero on Twitter

The daughter of a man whose life was saved by a London taxi driver after he had a heart attack is calling on her social media followers to find the hero to thank him. The cab driver, whose identity has yet to be uncovered, picked up the dying man in London Bridge and helped him to the hospital, free of charge and anonymously.

Barbara Devlin tweeted to the Official London Taxi Drivers’ twitter on Thursday November 22 about the incident and the story has since gone viral.

“My dad was picked up by a cabbie Tuesday morning 20/11/18 at London Bridge station & taken to St Thomas hospital having a heart attack, we all wanted to say a huge thank u as u helped save his life & didn’t take a penny!”, she tweeted.

Devlin hopes to find the man and pass on a message of gratitude from her father personally, as he”really does feel he owes him a lot”.

Twitter users are on the hunt to find and congratulate the hero cabbie. He is believed to be named Mark, around 50 years old, with black rimmed glasses.
