A series of free workshops aimed at local sports clubs in the borough have been delivered to assist with obtaining funds to support their cause and plan for the future.
The workshops are a great opportunity that will help the local clubs develop the necessary skills required to process grant applications and secure funding to boast sports facilities in the borough.
Southwark Council are funding the workshops free of charge.
The workshops will assist with the following:
- Writing a development plan.
- Meeting the requirements for a successful grant application.
- Demonstrating a need for the project.
- Sourcing relevant funding streams.
The next session will be held on Wednesday 10th December 2014 between 18:00-21:00 at Southbank University, 103 Borough Road, London, SE1 0AA.
