London black cab drivers have barricaded London Bridge from 4pm everyday since 26 November.

The Independent Taxi Alliance has initiated this protest to fight marginalisation by TFL with the slogan ‘Where buses go, we go’.

Police have effectively cooperated with the protest instructing drivers where to park upon arrival.

The campaign has an intense focus on Sadiq Khans apathy and failure to represent black cab drivers and those reliant on them.

They believe it is essential to launch an investigation on the current proceedings of TFL.

The Independent Taxi Alliance tweeted: “We are “protesting” because despite many successful “protests” before, our representatives have failed to make any headway.”

The Police have been vital at the protest to ensure drivers remain civil and peaceful.

Members of the alliance are calling for the people of London to take a stand together to ensure politicians can be held accountable.
