Camberwell locals are in for a treat on Saturday as local pub, The Tiger, plays host to Camberwell’s Bazaar.

The event kicks off on Saturday afternoon at 12pm with an afternoon full of arts and crafts, vintage clothing and food.

The Bazaar coincides with the launch of The Tiger’s new kitchen, Hanger & Heart. Described by the pub as ‘eat with your hands social food’ favouring ‘more pronounced flavours drawing influences from Latin and Asian cuisines’.

Camberwell’s Bazaar will run from 12pm-6pm and will incorporate outdoor food vendors and arts and crafts stalls selling vintage clothing, jewellery and artwork.

The stalls will feature hand-made crafts from Camberwell locals, including custom-made and vintage jewellery.

Food vendors from a variety of local pubs and café’s will be at the event, alongside The Tiger’s own Hanger & Heart. Vendors include The Sun Of Camberwell and Gremio De Brixton.

Tomorrow’s festivities are just one of many new events happening at The Tiger. A weekly evening event, Tiger Lates, launched last weekend at the local pub. The regular DJ nights will run from 9pm-1am every Friday and Saturday night.

Tiger Lates and Camberwell’s Bazaar are among many events put on by The Tiger. The pub also brags live music every Sunday and hosts a quiz night every Tuesday.

Situated on the bustling corner of Camberwell Green, The Tiger boasts that it’s ‘vintage and ad-hoc décor creates a warm friendly atmosphere for any social occasion’, making it a popular social hub for locals.

With a self-proclaimed focus on ‘sourcing and serving excellent real ale, delicious and locally sourced food and exceptional customer service’, The Tiger is slowly becoming the hot spot of Camberwell Green.
